Safeguarding hubs: Making safeguarding simpler

Published: Monday May 20, 2024

A logo made up of different coloured stick people in a circle with the words Safeguarding hubs beneathA new safeguarding hub where parishes can record safer recruitment and training requirements more efficiently has been launched for all parishes in the Diocese of Gloucester.

It is from the same company as the existing Parish safeguarding dashboard and aims to simplify the process of recording and storing necessary safeguarding information. This makes it easier for parishes to practice effective safeguarding.

The safeguarding hub includes a suite of tools to help a parish with safeguarding. You can switch different tools on and off to help with the various safeguarding tasks applicable in your setting.

  • Keep track of DBS checks and safeguarding training.
  • Create role descriptions and person specifications.
  • Track the safer recruitment of new volunteers.

All parishes that have reached level 2 and level 3 of the Parish safeguarding dashboard will be able to access the hub by clicking on the link in their dashboard. Any parish that has not reached level 2 or does not have a dashboard and wants to know more about how to access the hub or how to get started with a dashboard please email ku.gr1728035459o.coi1728035459dsolg1728035459@sdra1728035459obhsa1728035459d1728035459
