Following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, Gloucester Cathedral, the Diocese of Gloucester and Gloucestershire Lieutenancy hosted a special service, which took place at the Cathedral on Sunday 18 September at 3pm.
During the service, those gathered gave thanks for the life and reign of The Late Queen and offered prayers for our new king, His Majesty King Charles III. The service was attended by representatives from across the city, county and diocese, along with members of the public.
