The Churn Valley Benefice (CVB) has been supporting the Stroud Women’s Refuge over lockdown by sponsoring bags of laundry and household cleaning items or single bed linen for families.
The cleaning items are given to families when they arrive at the refuge and the bed linen is to take with them when they move on to their new homes.
The nine churches in the benefice donated £1,315 to the refuge to help support families at this particularly distressing time in their lives, together with a bag of household linen which will be delivered as soon as the pandemic restrictions allow.
