Bishop Rachel speaks on the Domestic Abuse Bill in the House of Lords

Addressing the House of Lords remotely, Bishop Rachel speaks to amendments to the Domestic Abuse bill ~ about women being abused, and acting in self defence.

Speaking in her role as Anglican Bishop for Prisons, Bishop Rachel cites specific examples from prison visits and work with the Nelson Trust, to emphasise the importance of trauma-informed interventions, and to highlight amendments to the Domestic Abuse Bill.
