Wholeness and Healing Day a great success

Published: Tuesday March 5, 2019

People from all over the Diocese of Gloucester came together for an amazing day of healing and wholeness in Churchdown last weekend. A day for God to work within people and between people.

Bishop Rachel said, “What an amazing day! The transforming presence of the Holy Spirit was evident in so many different ways and it was such a privilege to be ministering alongside [the team].”

The day included personal reflection, quiet activities, the laying on of hands and anointing, prayer ministry, use of a prayer labyrinth, and people had the opportunity to meet with an experienced listener or Spiritual Director. Congregants then celebrated Holy Communion together.

Bishop Rachel continues, “My prayer now is that the treasure people received […] will be shared with worshipping communities and the places of people’s everyday lives.”
