Churches across the Diocese opened their doors for the annual Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust (GHCT) Ride and Stride event on Saturday 14 September.
People were sponsored to take part in visiting as many churches as possible over the weekend or just popped in to see one or two.
St Mary’s Church in Lydney held a Try Your Hand at Bellringing event and Dumbleton St Peter had a Gift Day from 3pm – 5pm when there were stalls, activities, pop-up choir and afternoon teas plus glasses of bubbly on the green.

GHCT provides £150,000 in grants every year to help repair, maintain and improve the churches in our region, but can only do that with your continued support. Please help them continue this vital work.
