Free NHLF training day – 3 October 2019, 10 am @ Gloucester Cathedral
National Lottery Heritage Fund in partnership with Gloucester DAC and Gloucester Cathedral are organising a training day, which will provide churches with an introduction to the new National Lottery Heritage Fund (NLHF) strategic funding framework 2019-2024.
Although under the current funding regime there is no grant scheme dedicated exclusively to places of worship, the event was designed to provide guidance to projects focusing on churches. Aside from providing a general introduction to the range of grants available under the new NLHF strategy, and how to go about applying for them, the event will cover topics which churches often find challenging when applying for grants, such as: diversity, inclusivity, natural heritage and biodiversity, sustainability, intangible heritage, creating local partnerships and connecting local people with their heritage.
Attending the training day will benefit PCCs/church officers who are either considering applying for Lottery grants over the next 12 months, or those who have already applied in the past, under the previous HLF funding regime, but were unsuccessful and would like to reapply. A number of NLHF officers will attend the event. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions. More details to follow.
We will expect attendees to familiarise themselves with the NLHF funding framework document
Spaces are limited, therefore initially we can only offer one space per church. If you would like to reserve one, please contact Catherine McGirr, DAC Administrator on 01452 835593 or ku.gr1737882120o.coi1737882120dsolg1737882120@rrig1737882120cmc1737882120
