How are parishes using digital media?

Network imageFollowing a research audit of the various church digital presences across the Diocese of Gloucester, we can now offer some insights into how different groups are using various platforms.

One of the outcomes is that we now link from the Diocesan website to every parish ~ click here. (If your parish isn’t listed or the URL needs updating, please let us know)

The audit tells us that there’s lots going on and plenty to be inspired by; and as you’d expect it’s also a very mixed bag! The few graphs below illustrate some trends towards usage. We’re collectively strong on the proportion of parishes with websites, and are tending towards healthy use of community Facebook pages as well, with other social platforms substantially lower down the list of priorities.
