Creative connections between churches and schools

Jan van der Lely, Vicar at Thornbury telling her #ourLIFEstory

We recently had an outdoor service at St Mary’s School in Thornbury. For the first time we used the new ‘Experience Eucharist’ journey, and followed it with an Agape Service for the whole school and parents.
The display boards were covered with decorated chalices and the peace doves flying in the Reflection garden were made during the Experience time.
In the service everyone shared bread and grapes as an inclusive form of communion and it was a wonderful day enjoyed by everyone.

  1. Would very much like to be part of the Life Vision Group.
This Vision of Life has great potential, through prayer, for introducing new and fresh ideas into our worship, our outreach, our prayer lives, both private and corporate; and much more. I do also believe that this Vision is a gift from God.
