New Year: a time for fresh starts and resolutions. But how easy is it to stick to these resolutions on your own? Diets, diaries, dancing classes – finding the motivation to make real change in your life is tough. But this year could be different…
This January, groups of like-minded people around the Diocese of Gloucester will be getting together to support each other as we work to make positive changes in our lives.
Over four weeks, you will explore how to look after your body, strengthen your mind, inspire your soul and deepen your relationships.
The dates and times are listed below – come alone or grab a friend and get ready to get your life on track for 2018.

Around 50 people attended the event a Christ Church, Cheltenham last week, organised and run by the Revd Mike Smith.
The Revd Tim Mayfield, Vicar at Church Church, Cheltenham said: “After the DVD we broke into three large groups to discuss the helpful questions and it was great to hear gales of laughter from time to time from each of the groups. It was just such a lovely thing, to invite our community in to reflect together on ways in which we can look after our bodies.
“And there was spontaneous applause at the end of the evening. Mike, in his lovely friendly way, just said something I like ‘we hope to see you all again next week’ and the hall broke into applause.”
The Bishop of Gloucester, the Rt Revd Rachel Treweek said: “Every year many people set out with great intentions about introducing positive changes in their lives. It could be taking up exercise, spending more time with friends and family or committing to a particular challenge. But alone, it can be hard to stick to these resolutions. Coming along to one of these groups can give people a support network and set them on a path to flourishing.”
