The West Midlands Racial Justice Initiative has shared updates on the Racial Justice Microgrant Scheme which supports racial justice projects.
Currently, the scheme is in its trial phase, running until 11 April 2025. During this period, individual applications can receive up to £1,500, with a total limit of £5,000 for all applications within our diocese. This pilot phase will help refine the process to ensure it remains accessible and impactful for those working to advance racial justice.
Later this year, the full programme will launch, offering further support to grassroots projects that make our church spaces more welcoming, and enhancing our education on racial justice.
We encourage local churches, community groups, and individuals passionate about racial justice to explore this opportunity.
