A message from Bishop Rachel and Bishop Robert
We are delighted to be able to share with you the news that The Revd Dr Canon Sandra Millar has accepted the invitation to be the Interim Director of the Department of Mission and Ministry.
Sandra was until recently Head of Life Events for the National Church, before which she worked as part of the Department leading our work with children and families. She is an Honorary Canon of the Cathedral and lives in Gloucester.
She knows the Department and the Diocese well and will bring energy, creativity and vision to this ministry, with a deep understanding of the Church and the challenges and opportunities we face as we seek to shape our life to proclaim the Gospel afresh in this generation.
This is good news and I know you will join with us in holding her in your prayers as she prepares for the new ministry.
