This year’s Season of Creation is focused on peace with creation, inspired by the words of Isaiah 32:14-18.
The Church marks the Season of Creation from 1 September to 4 October each year. Creationtide dedicates time to honour God as Creator and Sustainer of all life, and to renew our shared commitment to care for our common home.
The symbol for this year’s Creationtide is the dove with an olive branch in the Garden of Peace, recalling Noah’s ark as a sign of new peace after the flood.

Eco Church provides practical ways for congregations to live out Creationtide, turning worship and reflection into lasting action for God’s earth. By taking part, churches can celebrate the season while making a real difference for the people, wildlife and the planet. Find out more.
Many churches have generously given to Gloucestershire Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (GARAS) in previous years. GARAS is always delighted to accept food donations, particularly the following items: rice, pasta, tuna, tinned tomatoes, oil, tea, coffee, biscuits, dried beans, chick peas (tinned and dried). If you would like to collect for GARAS this autumn, and would like more details or need information about how to drop it off at GARAS, then please contact Jennie Watts.
